Vacuum Casting

Vaccum casting technology can also be called as silicone mold. The process is to make a high-precision model firstly, and then use the model to fabricate silicone molds, thereby completing small batch replication of the product and reducing production and manufacturing costs and time. After the silicone mold is made, it is placed in a vacuum infusion machine. The air in the mold is first evacuated to form a low-pressure environment, and then the material is injected. After filling, take it out and put it in the oven to speed up the solidification of the material. After the material solidifies, take out the mold and open the mold to get the desired product. By reciprocating the cycle, small batches of prototypes and molds can be obtained. Due to the service life of silicone, the optimal number of uses of a silicone mold is 10-25 times. The larger the product, the shorter the service life. Because the injected material is plastic in a molten state, it is easy to deform the silicone.
