Insert Molding

Insert molding is kind of traditional injection molding. It involves metal insert and injecting plastic into one mold, using the same injection molding materials used for traditional plastic molding.

The main differentiating factor between traditional injection molding and insert molding is the addition of inserts to the mold used in the insert molding process. The insert needs to be loaded into the mold first, and then the molten plastic is injected into the mold. The subsequent steps are the same as traditional molds.
